Resale closing process- last step?

Can anyone help I am a litttle more confused then normal.

Today I was told the sellers stoped by the closing service store with their documents. I was also told that the closing service "was able to close my file and sent the information to Disney necessary for them to do the transfer".

I thought the next step was to record the deed at the court house. Am I wrong?

I know I am playing at real close to be in the "system" for the EE opening. I have a had a non DVC trip planned for a long time during the last week of Jan.I would love to go over to SSR and pick a temp card 3 weeks from today.

The title company will forward the necessary documents for Disney to put you in the system and transfer the seller's points into your account. Disney accepts that information before the deed is recorded. At least they do for Timeshare Closing Services and I'd assume any of the other title companies.

Once the deed is recorded, you will receive a copy. That takes about another 30 days.
