resale closed! who do i call?

Our OKW resale closed today( i think, although the closing service did not actually tell me)......i have heard that within a few days, despite the deed not being recorded, Disney will have us "on file" and will let us make reservations, etc! Yipee! Can anyone confirm that for me? Also, i don't know where to call to check? I don't have a phone number or anything! I definitly thought the whole "resale" thing was easy.......and true, not much hand-holding....none was needed to this point.....however, now the closing service is just that a closing service.....they don't really answer questions, etc......so i appreciate having this venue to ask all my questions!

Try calling Member Services @ 1-800-800-9800 during weekday business hours and ask for Member Accounting. Tell them your situation and ask if they have you in the computer and can give you your member number. They'll likely need your Social Security Number or equivilent.

Remember, Member Services is usually very busy on Monday morning.

My info was available just a few days after I closed.

Actually you can just call MS usually about 2-3 working days after closing. They can look it up by name and once they find it, they can give you the member number and you can do anything you want and have the points for. If they can't find it, that's where I'd talk to administration and the closign company to see when things went out to DVC.

Well, our offer was accepted on September 10.....it closed yesterday, October 18.....so, 38 days.........it seemed endless.....and now that i have to wait through the week end and possibly longer....interminable!

Amee, thanks for the info. It feels like an eternity. I've never wanted to give someone that amount of money so badly. I might have a Disney problem. If mine goes as quickly as yours though, I may only have another week or two to wait. I've got my fingers crossed.

Disney kept our offer for almost a month.....not quite......and our offer was on the lower side, for sure.......i went with Dean's advice and was willing to give it up.....we were lucky, i guess..........wanted to let you know that Disney seemed to take a long time, abut also wasn't buying everything back!
