While browsing through the DLR CP site I noticed this question in the FAQ section.
Is this different than the WDW program? I thought I remember reading that it was optional there. Doesn't really matter to me as I planned on taking one anyways however I am a little confused as to which ones are required.
There appears to be three types of classes. The first being the "Leadership Speakers Series", then the second being "Professional Development Study" and then lastly it lists a section simply called "Courses" (which include "Marketing You!", & "Organizational Leadership"). LINK
Can anybody shed some insight on this? Which ones are required and which ones are optional? Are the first two more like lectures whereas the "courses" are more like real college classes?
Any help would be appreciated!
My university isn't going to give me credit. Do I still have to take the educational component of the program?
Participants on the Disney College Program at the Disneyland® Resort are required to take the educational component of the program. We encourage you to review your Individualized Learning Plan with your advisor to ensure the best course selection.
