Sorry. It is not letting me edit. We are the type of people who spend little time in our room. Also, talk to me about food and fun on boardwalk.

I think that 2 couples in a studio is going to be very tight.
Jelly Rolls dueling piano bar is an absolute must for our family, it is a ton of fun.

If you have a Boardwalk view studio in December, barring any unexpected delays, you should get a refurbished studio. I'd expect them to have one queen sized bed plus one double (maybe queen, not sure) Murphy bed that comes down over the couch. If so, that Murphy bed will have a "real" mattress on it and should be pretty comfortable. If not, and you get one of the old double size sofa beds, the unfortunate truth is that most adults feel those are uncomfortable unless you put a thick mattress pad, foam pad, etc. on top of it. :tink: :tink: :tink: for a refurbished studio for y'all!

BW views are always nice. I would request a higher floor. That's a personal preference, however. Better views, less noise. Though I've never had a "ground floor" villa (I believe there are a few in the "Crest O' The Wave" section), I wouldn't want to be that close to the action. We love BW views, but always try saving the points with standard when available...

Generally speaking, the Boardwalk entertainment starts around 6 PM. Jugglers, magicians, etc. They're a lot of fun and very interactive with audience participation (usually they have kids as part of the show, but sometimes adults, too). If you imbibe, the options are plentiful - from the quiet Belle Vue Lounge inside, to the fun Abracadabar, there's plenty of drink, even a margarita stand on the Boardwalk. Pizza take out window as part of Trattoria Al Forno, shopping at the Screen Door, movies nightly on the Village Green... there's plenty to keep your attention. It can get busy, but it's not like a theme park type of busy. You can rent Surrey bikes, work out in the gym, swim in one of three pools, or hit up the Community Hall. My family has always felt that the Community Hall (at the Boardwalk and everywhere else for that matter) were greatly under-appreciated!
Have fun.
Good luck with 4 adults in a studio - you're a braver person than me! 😜

What is the Community Hall?

What is the Community Hall?
Community Hall is found in many/most of the DVC resorts. I know there are Community Halls at OKW, SSR, BWV, Kidani Village off the top of my head. There aren't any at the WL or BC for example.
They are built specifically for DVC resorts and are inside spaces with activities to do. They do cater towards children. There are TV's, video game consoles, tables for arts and crafts, foosball, air hockey, ping pong, etc. This is also where you can "rent" DVD's (though I'm not sure that is a thing any longer). It's also where you can do things like tie-dye shirts. pillow cases, etc...

They're rarely crowded (unless say, it's a rainy day during a peak season). But they are a good place to spend some family time together.

Touring Plans has a better explanation. If allowed, here's the link.
