Requests for Specific Section of SSR

Can a request be made for a specific section of a resort? If so, how is it done?

Hi Brack! Yep just ask for the section you prefer when you make the reservation & they will add a notation. On my last visit I requested the Springs section (which is where the main pool) is & it was stated right on the written confirmation I received. Of course it's only a request & they don't guarantee it so needless to say we ended up in the Grandstand section. At first I was a bit disappointed, because the Springs was my only request, but we ended up liking the Grandstand better. We had a view of the Grandstand pool, golf course & it was a short walk to the main building.

I also stayed at the Grandstand section on my last trip, and enjoyed it. Loved the small pool right outside our room (and hot tub!), very short walk to one of the bus stops, and a cute little bbq area if you wanted to do some grilling. Then the main building, and the larger pool was less then 4 minutes away. This will most likely be the section I request next time I "go home". Good luck!

We had requested CP or The Springs for our trip in late Sept. and we were not able to get into either section. The only sections with ANY availability were the Carousel (which is right by the front entrance after the guardhouse) and The Paddock (which is across from The Springs and CP).

We ended up at the Paddock because it was only a 3 min. walk to the CP bus stop (actually right in between CP & the Paddock stop but since CP was the next stop we'd board there and get off at the Paddock). It also wasn't too far from the main area across the bridge.

I did notice that Grandstand seemed fairly close to the main area and they have a really cute themed pool (but that was all booked up).

We did book a stay last summer and request CP and we were given a villa there so depending on how booked the resort is will depend on whether they can place you where you request. Let them know your request when you book your stay.
