requesting specific rooms ?

Can someone clue me in about folks sending in a fax to request a specific room/building. We will be staying at CBR for our land portation of the Land/Sea package. If we want a specific building what do I need to put on the fax and where/who do I fax it to and how far in advance do I send it?

You need to send the fax 3 or 4 days in advance. The number is 407-934-3288 (from Deb's site - http://www.wdwig.com/faq_cbr.htm). I think I sent mine to the Reservations Manager. They will know what it is and get it to the right person. Tell them as much detail as you want - smoking or not, specific floor, specific building, etc. Some people think that you can get cute and fancy to get better results, but mine was plain and it worked just fine. Make sure to include your reservation number and your contact information in case they have any questions.

Hi - from what I've been told (and I'll be putting this into practice next month) you can fax your resort 4 days before you get there, and politely request a room preference. at www.wdwig.com there is information on faxing your room preference. I think you go to resorts, then look to the left of the page and scroll down...I'm not sure how all this would work if you are crusing first, although I believe you may be able to have your room request placed on your reservation as well. If you went thru a travel agent, contact him/her to make the request. Otherwise, call Disney directly and make the request.
