Requesting Servers???

I am hoping that someone out there can answer a question for me. We cruised June 2001 and will be going again March 2003. Both times we will be travelling with extended family. We were interested in requesting the same servers that we had the last time. I called DCL and Castaway Club and they said they have no way of telling me if the servers are still with DCL and there was no way to request them?? I have seen here on the boards how people have requested their servers. So can someone tell me how to handle this? Thanks

But your best bet is to wait until you board. There will be a place & time listed on your navigator to make dining changes. Then you will be able to find out if they are on board, and we have never had good results with requests ahead of time, but this worked!! Good luck!

We tried to do the same for the July 6 cruise and were unsuccessful. When we called ahead of time, both DU and Disney told us we could not request a server. In Sessions once you get on the boat, they will do their best to accomodate you. They were unable to do so for us unless we changed to the late seating, which was not desirable for us with young children.
