Requesting a Work Location

I was just wondering when is the right time to request a possible work location? I got accepted for Spring 2011 in Merchandise and I told my interviewer I would like to work in MK but I still want to email about specific locations just in case. I don't want to do it too early or wait too late though! haha so if any of you have done this before when did you send your email?

Anytime really. Just make sure you do it about two months before your arrival date. They determine the location about a month ahead of time. Email wdw.college.recruiting@disney.com.

I told my interviewer last year that MK was my favorite park and I wanted to work there, and that's where I was put! I hope you're prepared to work two hours past park close if you're on Main Street! haha.

Ohhh yea I know all about that haha. I was considering requesting somewhere in DHS too but idk. I think as long as I don't get the emporium I'll be fine! But even there would be ok because it's Disney!

Remember that it's just a request. I had requested MK and got Epcot and now that I'm here and working, I'm REALLY glad I'm not at MK. I don't know if I could handle those really late nights.

Disney says to talk about it during the telephone interview. That's my opinion as the best time to do it as well (shows familiarity with property).
