I know we all get the disney blues... I just didn't expect it to hit me like this. There is a lot going on in our lives right now and I'm sure that is coloring my feelings... along with the huge wash of hormones surging through my ever expanding body (yes, I'm pregnant).

About 6 weeks ago, when everything was all set, I could have packed in a heartbeat and was so excited. Now I'm trying everything to muster up some excitement to pack (I do all of it always, so that isn't it). I just need to get excited and am having a really hard time doing it. And, we leave tuesday.

As someone else stated in another thread, I want to be the "pixie dust guest". So remind me... send me some PD. Remind me of the magic. Remind me of the good things at DL that make you cry.

Thanks.

Awww, your DS is 15 months?? This is going to be the neatest trip, seeing it thru his eyes for the first time!! Cherish that!! :) Really, that's special. You will see all the Christmas decorations up, HMH, Small World Holiday...so many good TREATS!!!!! The magic will be all over, it will snow on you too. Enjoy that, I love the snow after the fireworks! :)

I think your hormones are creating havoc, most unfortunately at the moment, upon your person. I know, it will be a longer moment. Since it will be a bit of time, before you have your baby. So I would remind myself that how you feel is because of hormones (Those darn things! ;) ) I would focus on how I normally feel, when planning a visit to Disneyland. And think of the things that I really enjoy doing, and am looking forward to doing again. For me, I love! the Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Haunted Mansion. I ever so enjoy as well, The Enchanted Tiki Room, and The Indy Ride, Thunder Mountain RR.
I love the Blue Bayou, and Marcelines Confectionery, the chocolate croissants at Blue Ribbon Bakery, and it is fun to window shop, especially inside the shop ;) he he I also very much like to ride the train around the park. I love those bacon wrapped asparagus skewers at the Bengal Tiger Barbecue. The fireworks, the electric light parade (Which I have not seen for such a long time) I get a kick out of when one of the characters will look at me, and wave. I think that is nice (For I am not a kid) so I do not feel left out. :)
I also love to talk to the different CM's, it is fun. If I could get paid to talk, I would have one terrific job! Not to mention job security. ;) ha, Seriously. :)
I also especially like the petting zoo. And riding the draft horse pulled wagon, on Main Street. I also enjoy helping people out, from giving the time, to directions, to picking something up off of the ground to give back to someone that had dropped said dropped item. To even telling people to please do not take flash pictures (on POTC) and telling children not to run. Maybe I can get a job there as a security person? he he!

What things do you enjoy especially when at Disneyland?

Here is a sky full of pixie dust, being sent down to you from the heavens above! :)

And here is hoping that you have one most fantabulous and unforgettable time during your visit to Disneyland, and may the force be with you! ( No morning sickness, etc)

OK I can understand frustration. I did a 4 day stint when I was 7 months pregnant.

 I had to picture the place in my mind, walking under the rail road track and leave today and Enter the Disney World. I made sure to have a very light load (rent a locker so you do not have to carry anything)

But think of how your 1st child will be seeing this, YOU will be emotional but I still cry thinking of when my son met Mickey--- I was 7 months with our daughter who now thinks all the parks are HOME!

I count every trip there a blessing, I just take it easy you know what to pack to visit the parks. Pray the weather is perfect, Knowing there are bathrooms round every corner.

Have a great time!! I just got back and am trying to figure out if I can make it back for Christmas.(one of the Best times of the year to go) But they just announce the Princess & Pirate party in 2009. Then there is the Cruise My kids are old enough they want to do these too again. Too many Choices Just leave your bag packed!

You will have SO much fun!! It's such a great time to take them. Just remember to REST in the afternoons and try to eat as healthy as possible to avoid stomach issues. :)

Now...

Close your eyes and imagine yourself going through the turnstiles...which tunnel do you choose to go through? Now look up. Do you see the castle? The "Partners" statue? All the lovely flowers? Ooooh!!!!!! There's the Matterhorn! Woo! Take a whiff of the air. Smell the popcorn, the churros...mmmmm....

Do I have you excited yet? No? Ok. Look to your left. Hey! It's MICKEY!!!::MickeyMo Now look at your sweet son. Watch his reaction to meeting the Mouse for the first time. :cloud9:

You are going to have SO much fun!
