I'm not sure what the chances are of being able to get this done but here is my idea and I'm hoping someone can make me a design. I figure it can't hurt to try.

I would like a certificate to give my DS7, Ethan, when we get to the airport. I would like for it to say something like - 1st Airplane Ride, Earning my Wings - I'm not good at wording so please feel free to change it to something better.

Favorite Disney Characters - Pluto and Mickey

It could include the date November 22, 2011 and maybe even the to and from (Atlanta to Orlando).

Here is more information just in case it's needed - Flight # Delta 1869
Depart ATL at 7:55 and Arrive in MCO at 9:21

I would like to have a place for the Pilot and Co-Pilot to sign the certificate. Not sure if they will but I'm going to try.

Would one of you wonderful DISigners give this a try PLEASE? :flower3:

P.S. What do you think the chances are that they will sign it and let me take a picture of my DS7 with them?

THANK YOU!!
Allison

Hi Hon
Here's wishing you some pixie dust--I think if they see you made something special for your child they will sign and let you take a picture,,******

Just a suggestion:I would print on card stock.

Just a thought on signatures... my DH has many friends who are pilots (he is an air traffic controller, so he talks to these people all day!!) and they would be more than happy to sign. A tip though, right when you board speak with your flight attendant. S/he may take it from you and have them sign up front. Pilots have lots of paper work to do before take off and after landing and many times won't have time to talk. They may be able to do it during midflight, but the FA's can't get up there because of security reasons.

ITH! And good luck. Most pilots are so nice and I'm sure most will go out of their way to fulfill a request like this!

Thank you Mel! :worship: As always your design is wonderful. I can't wait to use it. You are my angel :littleangel: I think you are right about the Card Stock. That is a good idea to make sure it last for the trip. Thank you again.

thedonduck - Thanks for the information. I will remember the tips for our trip. Very helpful to know.

I think it is worth it to give it a try.

Awww thanks. It's great to hear comments like that compared to what we have been going through over the past two months. Apparently a few ATCers having issues means all of them stink at their job and that the air space is unsafe. We have had some trying times in our house since then.

Good luck with the sigs! Most people are willing to help do anything as long as you ask nicely and don't expect too much.
