Reputable vacation home rentals?

Hi folks,

Looking to bring a group down in May and stay in a vacation home.

I've heard of All Star Vacation Homes, but didn't know if anyone knew of other similar sites to price shop on.

We rented directly from an owner at Windsor hills. Plenty of space and a fine neighborhood. Not luxury. But better than a value and over half the price.

Lots of places to look. Homeaway is OK, VRBO is a really good one. There are endless choices of good places to stay around WDW.

All Star has nice homes but charge more than double what you would pay if you booked with the owner directly. Homeaway is good but has now started charging a booking fee. Again, contact the owner directly to inquire about booking without paying the fee. Windsor Hills is very nice and is the closest to the parks. Another poster mentioned that the homes aren't luxury. I don't agree completely. There are many homes in the resort that can easily be considered luxury.

I recommend VRBO as well. I enjoy working directly with owners.

Look up communities you are interested in--Indian Creek, Windsor Hills etc--and see if there is a way to submit an inquiry to contact owners directly. We've gotten the best deals that way. Homeaway and VRBO charge fees to the owners.
