OK I didn't get a chance to comment on this the other day. (And I'm not being political) But I thought this was quite possibly the most uncomfortable, yet extremely hilarious press conference I have ever seen, and I mean EVVVERRRRRRRRRRR. (And I apologize to Aisling because I know you like the guy) But come on.
I particularly thought the "I want to thank my parents for instilling the values I have" as a touching line, although it makes me wonder if this was an intentional jab at his parents, being that his "values" are interesting to say the least.
And I was also touched about his want to thank God comment, and how he's taking his talents to continue to help the little people, or something along those lines. I think he also needs a new speech writer. You can't script this stuff. (I think he was influenced by Lebron James' taking my talents to south beach presser.)
But the Howard Stern heckler, I'm sorry, that was just the funniest, yet admittedly slightly low class thing I've ever seen.
But yet again, I will admit I occasionally watch reality television as well so I have a natural..... soft spot for this sophomoric type behavior.
And I want to say that although personally I think "sexting" is a turn off, stupid, immature, and just dumb, if that's what you want to do that's fine, I don't necessarily have a problem with it, or a problem with Weiner wanting to engage in sexting, but he just set himself up so bad, its just funny. Did I mention that I thought this was funny?
