Apparently gun control is now considered 'political' so I cannot respond to your bait. I hope you understand.
Political? Bait? Mmmmm, okay.

Yes, I was told by TPTB that we (or maybe just mePolitical? Bait? Mmmmm, okay.
And grandstanding. Better watch it or you'll get your wrist smacked.Political? Bait? Mmmmm, okay.
I'm just going to add this to my above post... (I know its a bit off topic but felt it fitting based on some of the replies)

Yes, I was told by TPTB that we (or maybe just me) can't discuss gun control because it's now considered 'political' and political discussion is against the DIS's rules.
It's a Disney board. There aren't rules, they're more like guidelines, made up as we go alongRules are great.
So this post is allowed? Ok then.
More bait. No thanks. So, I guess per the previous posts (discussing gun control is political)..... what about my post indicates gun control? What about my post would raise the question of it being allowed or not?
More bait. No thanks.
So you went through the video in slow motion, "carefully" watching her head and hair to prove what? That she MIGHT have noticed someone (did she have time to realize WHO it was?) standing next to her cameraman?
This thread has been pruned three times now with a warning about no gun control talk and then no mental health debate by a webmaster after. I think that may what they are referring to.
Precisely, to offer evidence of an alternative opinion to some here saying she definitely didn't notice someone. As for Alison Parker knowing "who it was," as I previously suggested the split-second brief glance in all likelihood registered on her on an almost unconscious level as "generic bystander". I.e. no, because she was focused on doing her on camera interview, she clearly didn't process who it was.
They are out of control (not getting) and becoming more frequent.fair enough
I had often wondered if any accident or crime was caught on live tv. Usually around here in the middle of winter, reporters are sent on location, which is either ocean side or road side) to report on the storm. I always feared a reporter would be struck by a skidding car in the snow. Obviously in this case, the shooter HAD to have known this would get major national coverage. If not, and he acted "in the moment", then he could have played this out at any time and not waited for the camera to be rolling. I'm not sure if I'm just getting a little older and paying more attention now, or if things like this are actually getting out of control and becoming more frequent. And by this I mean ALL of the hate being discussed (ISIS, race, police, etc).
On the video he took and posted to his own page, he stands there with his gun in hand for a good 30 seconds before shooting. It is clear he is waiting for the camera operator to pan back to have the other people in the frame before firing. This whole thing reminds me of R. Budd Dwyer's suicide, which could have been done in a much less stressful environment but instead he chose to make a spectacle of it.Obviously in this case, the shooter HAD to have known this would get major national coverage. If not, and he acted "in the moment", then he could have played this out at any time and not waited for the camera to be rolling.
Did you see the news video in Worcester where the apparent drug deal went down just behind the live reporter last winter?I had often wondered if any accident or crime was caught on live tv. So you went through all that work just show someone on an internet message board MIGHT be wrong?to offer evidence of an alternative opinion to some here saying she definitely didn't notice someone.
