Reporter and Camerman killed on air.

An edited version is now on youtube (doesn't include the actual shooting). Flanagan approaches the reporter and cameraman, then raises a pistol at the reporter just before the video ends.

Also, Flanagan used the name ""Bryce Williams" on Twitter.

At this point one "seems" a little more unusual. The second? I'd bet dollars to donuts there is more than one person around with that name.

Hope they catch him soon. He appears to have quite an evil agenda.

Believe me when I say I know EXACTLY how that is. Several years ago, a cousin shot (and killed) his girlfriend. He and I share the same first and last name (different middle names). His name was plastered all over the news and on scanners. I know because MY phone started to ring off the hook. I still had no issue they put his name out there (and mine). So I was a bit inconvenienced and had to explain it wasn't me (also to the local and state police that staged my house thinking I was him) but at the same time, it allowed others to know he was wanted.....and armed and dangerous.

From the video he posted it looks like he paused after raising the gun and then moved behind the cameraman before shooting. Maybe he wanted to make sure she saw him or he wanted the cameraman to catch the shooting.

I thought maybe he was having a change of heart for a brief second.

I think it was the latter. He was framing his shot in the camera. (I watched it.) He had a clear shot at the cameraman but wanted to shoot the reporter first, and clearly waited for it to be captured correctly. She was taken off guard; they all were. He stood there for quite a while in front of them, but all three victims were engrossed in the interview.

It is truly disturbing to see something like this, but hopefully analysts can learn about what makes someone like this go to these extremes.

I feel so sorry for the victims and their friends, family and coworkers. It's so tragic.

The only version left is the actual newscast which while it shows the shooting, more by sound. His version from his Go Pro is gone for now. I am sure some sick soul might have copied it and will repost it - sad.

I feel for you.

But your name was not reported, incorrectly, nationwide as the suspected murder of 20 second graders. That might cause more than a slight inconvience.

I don't understand the thinking where "racism" is not ok but stalking and cold-blooded murder is.

Is the shooter mentaly ill or just enraged? That is the question. (Hypothetically speaking.)

The theater shooter seeemed to have gone out of his way to make himself appear crazy, but I believe he was just recently found not to be insane, is that correct?
