Report of 4th FP from app!?

In February I tried to this exact thing after using my 3 prebooked and the app did not let me. It definitely knew that my FPs had been used.

There was a loophole way back where you could do this sort of thing all day (I forget the details, you had to change the FP at a certain point in line) but Disney quickly closed it once it went public.

IIRC, that loophole involved modifying your FP+ in between the two scanners.

I seem to recall that our FP+ disappeared from MDE after we used them.

One thing I'm curious about is WHICH MDE apps are being used.

Eddie is using one on iOS. Are any Android versions working in this manner? I could be one app versus another.

I am using Android and "tested" this just now. Granted I am not in the park I just wanted to make sure I knew how when the time comes. So I made 3 FP+ reservations for this morning at MK (all rides with minimal waits according to my app so I didn't steal any good ones). I waited until all 3 expired, which was 12:55pm. I just logged on about 10 (1:40pm) minutes ago and clicked "make new FP+ selections" and chose today's date and MK again. It gave me the conflicts error and I clicked continue (or something like that). I then selected 3 new attractions and confirm. All 3 showed up in my MDE account for my whole party.

The only thing that would be different in the park is that the FP+ would actually be used rather than expried. Hoping this still works for me in 30 days!

But you didn't use your FP, so you should still be eligible to make more through the app.

Just a reminder..I don't have an AP and didn't have one when it worked for me this past January.

Isn't the "rule" that after you use your first 3 OR they expire that you are required to use a kiosk to make additional FP+. Please correct me if I am wrong...I will be using FP+ for the first time in June.

That is how it works...except that some of us have had the ability to make a fourth FP+ from our phone on the MDE app, after the initial three were used. This hasn't worked for everyone. Why it works for some and not others is still a mystery.

My understanding was that if an FP+ return window has passed without being used, that FP+ could always be rescheduled to later in the day via MDE (subject to availability, of course).

I wonder if this would work:

You have FP scheduled for 9am, 10am, and 11am. After you ride your first at 9:05, you go into the app, select that FP you just used, and modify it to something else at a different time. Theoretically this should work if the system isn't registering a FP as used until the end of the allotted window.

I tried doing that a couple of months ago… seeing if I could get another FP after just using one at the Mickey Head reader.
I couldn't get it to work on the app or site.
But the blinkin' system was so dad-blamed S-L-O-W (via either WiFi or carrier service) that
I was not sure WHAT was the real situation as to being able to make the FP+ "change" work.

Yup.
It's not a good test if the guest just lets the FP+ times expire.

Well that changes things... I didn't realize this and thought that if it expired then it was basically the same as "used." I'm still hopeful that I am one of the lucky ones that this works for.

If the FP+ choices "disappear" from the list as they are used,
then the whole premise of this thread would seem to disappear along with them, no?

OK, so I went to the parks today instead of the weekend to try and avoid larger crowds. Taking a little "beverage" break at the Rose & Crown and wanted to show the screen grabs I took of doing this successfully and have booked six Fast Passes via the Mobile MDE app for today.

Here are the three original Fast Passes I booked this morning for the Studios

After USING all three Fast Passes, I went to book three more at EPCOT and received the "conflict" message

I selected the "Replace Eddie's experiences" option

Chose the party that needed attention

Selected three new Fast Passes and I am set for the evening at EPCOT

Wait...but did you use the first 3 at DHS? Or any at DHS? I think that's going to be the true test...whether you can use any (or all) at the first park before hopping to the other to get 3 more.

He said in the post he used the three at HS before booking another three.

I seem to recall that our FP+ disappeared from MDE after we used them.

I just double checked my MDE. All our FP + Reservations from July are still showing in "past items". All of them were used. We are not AP holders.
