Report of 4th FP from app!?

I tried this multiple times this week. All day, all parks, all ways....and it did not work.

We did, however, get all of our additional fast passes without using the kiosks. It's how I realized club level can be worth the extra bucks.

Did CL concierge book them for you? Did you text them or something different?

CL concierge would not book FP for us at AKL. I asked and they said they could not do it. They do book the first 3 if you happen to show up and don't have any booked. They did that every single morning for folks. But they could not book additional FP for us. I believe this is a CL by CL thing. When I asked at AKL the CR CL could book them. Which is why I asked at AKL.

There have been other reports of the lobby concierge (non CL) making the 4th FP+.

Like many things, it appears that the CM who is on staff at any given time can make all the difference in what they will or won't do.

Our club level went above and beyond our wildest dreams. I would never have thought club level was worth it but My mind is forever changed.

Maybe it's a time thing.

Like if change it 30 mins before your last one expires.

I'm going to monkey with all the loophole cheats just like always. It interesting to me.

One thing I'm curious about is WHICH MDE apps are being used.

Eddie is using one on iOS. Are any Android versions working in this manner? I could be one app versus another.

Yeah, I think they can do it. Just a matter on if they will, or realize they can. The staff I asked at AKL checked with the others working at the time to confirm they were not able to do it. I suspect in their case they didn't know they could as they had never tried.

When I was able to inadvertently book a 4th on my phone it was with an Android. Though I do carry my iPad Mini also so could theoretically use either that worked (if this holds true)

I'm am pretty sure that my FP+s disappeared from my Andriod MDE in December. So if this is something that you can only be done using an Apple product...well, my kid's iPod touch just earned entry into Disney!

It was the trip for DH and I in December when I used my Andriod. Guess the expired FP are showing up for some just like ghost tickets for some. We have those too.

Well darn. I was hoping we could nail down what was causing the discrepancies.

Candleshoe, what if it isn't app specific but due to the fact that APs always have "extra" ticket entitlements. It's the entitlements that open the FP booking area. MDE will tell you there is a conflict but it allows entry because of the extra ticket entitlements still in the account.

Those who were reporting it didn't work may not have had extra entitlements in their specific MDE.

With the extra ticket(s) you have in your MDE, you can research that during your trip. See if you can book additional FPs because of an extra ticket versus attempting to book for a person without an extra entitlement.

soooooooo. . . . . after the three are used. . . . you go to book three new ones and you can have 3 new fast passes or 1? i keep reading diff things. . . and that's if it even works.

you don't use the modify choice? u use the new fast pass choice?

You have to use your first 3 in order to have the concierge book a 4th. We did this in akl in our vacation back in November with no problems.

I had an AP in December and I don't think it worked. I'll be testing it out for sure in June, though.

So you're thinking that it's due to having an AP?

If this is true, then once we use up our first days allotment, because we're AP holders we'd be able to book sdfp's anywhere we are- home, in the parks, at the resort. It's not that this is the ability to book a 4th fp by phone, it's that it's the AP allowing it. Am I understanding this? It's very interesting and it makes a lot of sense that this is due to the nature of how AP's work.

It may very well be the 'extra' ticket entitlement. If someone kept a single ticket entitlement that had no FPs linked for that specific day, they could in fact book additional FPs because of the new entitlement. The 'old' entitlement was used at park entry and the 'new' entitlement may trigger the window to open.

ok- I can't wait to try this out. One more question. Take the scenario a few pages back--in MK- 9:00/10:00/11:00 fastpasses scheduled. You use all of them and then you go on MDE and book 4th fastpass at 11:30- does it have to be within the last time frame for the original 3rd fastpass- in other words, could you do it at 1:00 versus in the 11:00-12:00 time frame?

Interesting. When you say 'once we use up our first day's allotment" do you think it would require actual admittance to the park and/or use of the first three FP's? In other words, an AP holder wouldn't be able to test this by using the app today from home to make 3 FP's for tomorrow, and then use the app again from home tomorrow after those 3 FP's expire to see if they can make a 4th?
