Okay, I have a couple of questions....we got our cruise docs yesterday and unfortunately they don't include a supplement for the 14 day cruise and I think the info booklet they send with the docs is out dated. Anyway, wondering if anyone knows how many formal and semi-formal nights there are. Also, in our docs it says embarkation is 1pm....is this the same for everyone?? I heard people on the West coast cruises were boarding as early as noon, or do we have pre-assigned boarding times?? Just wondering how early we need to get to the port. Any info would be great, thanks!!

From what I've heard on the boards there are 2 formal nights and 2 semi formal nights. I'm not going just telling you what I have heard from here.

Have a great trip bringing the magic home!!! :wizard:

Belle2002,

I would recommend you going to the cruise meet link for the repo cruise. There has been a newsletter sent out twice a month with a lot of good info. Also a lot of people who would be able to answer any questions you may have.

On the May repo there were 2 formal nights and one semiformal.

DCL is tentatively saying 2 formal and 2 semi-formal nights - but that can change by the time we get onboard.

Officially the embarkation time is 1pm, but if they are ready for us earlier they can start boarding early.

There are no pre-assigned boarding times.

If you've every flown Southwest Airlines you'll be familiar with this boarding style in San Pedro ... as you check in you're given a boarding group number (between 1 and 12). When they start the boarding process they'll call your group number, and at that time you go through security/scanning and enter the ship.

On our repo there were two formal and one semi formal night. I wouldn't pack for more than that...people were so happy on our cruise not to have that second semi formal night..it would have been way to much.

We did have two formal and two semi-formal nights, but there was a misprint on the cover of the Navigator for the second semi-formal. It read "casual" on the front and semi-formal on the back. Due to this, it ended up being more of a "whatever" night. :teeth: :flower:

It was a misprint..and was not supposed to be on that navigator. Guest services assured everyone that asked that is was definately a casual night dinner, and no second semi formal night was planned.
