replacement for 20,000 Leagues?

My husband and I visited Nov 2004 for the first time wo kids. It was a 25th anniversary trip--we had a wonderful time. We plan on going back for 26th in Nov 2005. We would like to know if something is replacing 20,000 Leagues? Will it be opened by Nov 3, 2005? TIA Deb

Well since 20,000 has been gone for about 7+ years and its now covered with cement and flower beds.... No nothing will be replacing it but I have heard rumors a playground will be installed near there sometime...

Some of the other posts I've read indicate that there will be a Pooh's Thoughtful Spot playground. I know last year when we were there they had all the ground dug up where the leagues used to be. My DH and I were bummed. In fact we are still bummed that they took away the Lion King show. Now I do like Mickey's Philharmagic, however, I really enjoyed the Lion King show.

I cannot believe with todays technology. They couldn't make a kick-**** update on the Submarine ride.

According to a very reliable source, they are going to build space mountain 2 on the site. It will be as fast as R&R, go upside down and backwards.
