Repairing a camper at the fort?

Does anyone have a name or number of someone who comes to the fort to repair campers?
I'm so frustrated, our camper was working just fine last night when we stopped near Tallahassee and now the slide won't go out or in properly. It is like one of the sides is jammed. The top gear of the front slide won't budge then, like a stuck drawer the other side pivots, but can't go out or in properly. Since we can't put the slide it I don't feel comfortable driving it down the road. Not the best start to our vacation!

Sorry about your troubles, we too, have had issues while traveling.

It sounds like it might be a sheared pin - we have had that happen before (on another unit) and just started keeping extra pins with us, or even a bolt in a pinch. Good luck on an easy fix so you can be on your way.

Like you said, it's best to fix it right there. Wouldn't feel safe trying to drive with the slide not fully in place.

There is a repair facility on Disney property just across from the speedway. I would call them from a house phone and ask if they can help or give advise as to a repair. I have seen a repair truck in the campground in the past but cannot remember a name. Maybe the front desk can help. Also, there is a camping world in Kissimmee. I'm sure they could fix it, however, may need to take it to them. I could not tell if you are already at the fort as the above suggestions make that assumption. Hope all works out well.

or goto front desk and ask. my buddy had a WDW FW maintence guy come out and help with AC issues. was fan motor that was frozen and just gave a push w/ screwdriver and got going. Flipped him a $20 and called it good.

Denise posted some numbers and I have experience with camping connection. They replaced a storm damaged awning on my camper on site and it all was handled very well. Strongly recommend them.

Thank you all for your help! We are at the fort right now and plan on making calls on Monday. I will update with what ends up happening

Sorry I haven't updated sooner. Little did I know my husband purchased roadside assistance for the camper when we bought it so we had a guy come out from Orlando on Monday afternoon. I took the kids to Epcot by bus while DH worked on the camper with this guy. They determined that the slide got misaligned and chewed up the gears. The repair guy could fix it after ordering a bunch of parts, but we decided that since they could get the slide in we would just take it home to our shop and have them repair it. So we are at a Lowes parking lot tying it down to be sure that it doesn't go anywhere and getting ready to go home. Thanks again for all your help.
