Hi gang,

I am renting points for a stay in January, and wanted to ask a few quick questions.

1) Are we still elligible to get the dining plan even though we are renting points (not DVC owners)
2) Is the DVC "room only" dining plan really true? Do you not need to buy tickets to get it? (We have several leftover non-expiring tickets we were hoping to use this short trip).

Thanks!

For DVC ressies you do not need to purchase park tickets to get the dining plan. You will have to let the own you are renting from know that you want the dining plan so it can be linked into your ressie.

you need to get the dinning plan on your reservation NOW. It will be $37.99 for adults. This can't be added at the front desk.

you don't need to buy the WDW tickets to get the dinning plan with DVC.

and yes renters can definitely get it.

you can also get EMH and DME.

A few minor corrections.

First, I'm sure Chuck meant to say that you need to let the ownER you are renting from know that you want the Dining Plan, and make sure that the owner updates the reservation accordingly. (You can no longer do this yourself -- the owner must do it.)

Second, since your trip is in January, the cost will be $38.99.
