Just an update about what to do with DVC points for a cruise...About a month ago I decided that DH and I would take a 7 day Fantasy in March of 2017, but that meant we would not be using 2015 or 2016 DVC points as we probably would not do WDW again until at least 2018. I thought about using those points and booking the cruise, but I didn't want to pay the whole amount at this time. After some feedback here I decided to rent my points with David's. I went ahead and booked the cruise.
In less than a week I had rented out half of the points and the payment I received took care of more than my down payment. Today I rented out the rest. In less than a month!
So if you are DVC and worried your points won't rent, don't! It's painless! And now I have two cruises to look forward to...the March 28 Dream and the 3/11/17 Fantasy!
