Renting & transferring - Will this work?

I have 2 DVC contracts. The use years are Oct & April.

I have 13 points I need to use before Sep 2003 or lose on my Oct contract. Our next trip will be Nov 2003 and don't see how we could make a quick trip before then although I'd love too.

I have current points I plan to bank on the April contract to use in Jun 2004.

So I don't lose the points without any benefit could I offer the 13points + the additional points needed to actually make a reservation.

If I have it right seems like I can transfer the current points from my other contract and make the reservation with the contract where I have the 13 banked points.

Would this be too much trouble to deal with?

You could do that and I think it's the best option. Second choice would be to borrow from the Oct, 03 use year to complete any reservation needed. Good luck.

Yes it definetly works. I would say it is worth the trouble (which should be very little) to not end up out about $100. I would chck on the rent board for anyone looking for a 1 or 2 night trip. There have been a few of these.

Thanks for the quick replies. I quess I could borrow, I've made the Nov 2003 reservation with the other points but member services could probably work that out.
