Has anyone ever rented a stroller from:

Family Rentals of Orlando
or
A Baby's Best Friend

Decided to rent a double instead of trying to bring my own on a plane...

thanks :cheer2:

Hi, I haven't travelled on American flights with a stroller but I have travelled extensively through Europe with a stroller at various times and I can tell you, it's not awkward at all. In fact it's really easy. The strollers are usually the last things to be packed and they're not loaded onto the plane until just before passengers board (at least that's the way it's done here and I'm sure it's pretty much the same everywhere). The stroller is not put in with the main luggage, it's just put in the back of the plane so when you disembark, the stroller comes off first and it's handed to you and off you go, no worrying about getting around the terminal having to carry your baby/toddler. It really is invaluable to have it before and after you get on the plane, especially if the child wants to sleep. In fact I've always found it a great bonus and have had many envious looks from other passengers because usually those with strollers are called to the front of the queue and then get to board first! Can't guarantee that happening with you. Just saying don't rule out bringing your own one. Good luck!

We rented a double stroller with the multiday discount right at the WDW parks. It was very easy since we didn't need it except while in the parks. I would recommend that rather than renting one for your entire trip if you don't think you'll need it just to walk around your resort and dtd.

Yeah, right. These boards are full of "the airline destroyed my stroller" stories, including from me. It happened to me one time and I vowed "never again!" That is how we found A Baby's Best Friend rental in Orlando years ago, and have been using them ever since. I will never bring my own stroller. Also, even though the airline eventually reimbursed me, the hassle of not having one in the meantime is something I did not need. And I didn't really enjoy starting my vacation that way. I would rather have a nice clean comfortable stroller delivered and waiting for me at my hotel from ABBF that we can use all the time on vacation. Their site is www.abbf.com
