Has anyone rented a stroller lately? What is the price for 3 days? Are they comfortable for the child..

We rented a double stroller for 4 days - it was around $60. We wound up using it only 1 day, it was just too crowded, and not enough room for the two kids to really be comfy, and fortunately they credited back three days.

With the Length of Stay rental, you make a one-time payment for as many days of rental that you will need. Upon visiting a theme park, show your receipt at the stroller/wheelchair rental location and you will be directed through the queue with little or no wait. There is a slight discount when purchasing the Length of Stay rental ticket. The Length of Stay option is NOT offered during peak attendance times, however, such as Christmas.[/font]

We brought our own and I m happy that we did. The strolers are a heavy plastic, except for MGM. The kids look happy in them, but they look uncomfortable to me. Also, there are so many rentals that many had a harder time finding which one was theirs, since CM's park them, but you get to find it.

what can we do special to make it easier to find? Like maybe red and green markers... maybe orange too?

I am bringing my regular stroller for DD 2.5 (since I need at least one kid confined while in the airport anyway). I won't even consider bringing our double -- it weighs a ton to carry and push.

I may need a stroller for DS 4.5 though. He will fight it but I expect his little legs will get very tired. He is quite tall for his age -- will be 4 in June and already 45 inches tall.

What are the single strollers like in MK? Do the strollers have any roof or other covering to protect from sun/rain, etc. or are they all open? We also plan to hit MGM so a description of their strollers would be helpful too.

If anyone has pictures they can post, that would be great.

I looked into the 'length of stay' rental before our last trip. I found a much nicer stroller and better price at A Baby's Best Friend in Orlando. They came highly recommended on these boards, and their website sold me. The stroller was cleaner, softer, easier to manuever, and more comfortable than the park's. The price for the week was much better also, and we had it all the time so we didn't have to schlep the kids out of the stroller at the park gates when leaving. ABBF delivered and picked up from our resort (before we got there and after we left. . .). I was very impressed with the service and cleanliness of all the items we rented from them.

We took a child's bike flag and decorated it with our last name and disney stuff and then attached it to the stroller by wrapping double sided velcro around it and the stroller.

We rented a stroller this past weekend for two of the days - $10/day. It was a pretty good choice for our 3-year-old DD. She walked about half the time and rode about half. The stroller was sturdy enough to hold my backpack on top even when she wasn't riding in the bottom. It was nice not to have to schlep the stroller around between the resort and the park - with one exception. We stayed for the fireworks Sat. night, and DD fell asleep before we managed to get out of the park. That meant that after we turned in the rented stroller, I had to carry her to the bus stop. Hubby had stayed to enjoy some of the rougher rides with his brother, so it was just me and the grandparents who weren't able to carry her. Of course, right after the fireworks is the most crowded time at the bus stop, so we had to wait until the second bus came before we could board - about 25 minutes total. There was no place to put her down. Then, of course, after we got to our resort (POR), I had to carry her from the bus stop to the room which was a bit of a walk. Carrying a 35-pound kid that long after a full day at Disney is a feat. If it weren't for that one night, I would recommend renting whole-heartedly if you have a preschooler. However, if you plan on staying 'til the kids fall asleep, consider taking your own!
