renting stroller/checking yours?

Did I read last year that you could rent a stroller and check yours at the stroller rental place? I think for our upcoming trip that the double wide might work better for us. I still want to be able to use mine when the kids are tired and I am exiting the park. The double wide would prob work better in the parks as I need to be able to "shield" my oldest and use the "stroller as wheelchair" sticker and yet be able to have her get out easily. Now that she is getting older our regular stroller won't work as well at Disney.

So has anyone left their stroller at the rental place in the park?

I know they will hold a personal wheelchair when you rent an ECV, but I don't know about storing a personal stroller when renting a double.
