renting pontoon boat... where?

My friend is staying at the Beach Club resort later this week. She and her husband were talking about renting a pontoon boat for the day. Apparently someone at disney mentioned they might want to rent one at the Contemporary.

Has anyone rented a pontoon boat for use on Cresent Lake? Bay Lake? Which would you say is the better place to have the pontoon boat?

My friend mentioned the convienence of renting it at cresent lake just because it's right by the resort but we wanted to make sure that it was definitely big enough for that kind of thing to be enjoyable.

I appreciate any opinions.

I know you can charter a pontoon boat for a fireworks cruise because we did, I didn't think you could just rent them to use for the day. Not sure though. Anyone know for sure?

You can rent Pontoon boats at Fort Wilderness and at Down Town Disney. I think you can also rent then at the Yatch and Beach club you rent them by the hour

We prefer to rent boats on Bay Lake. Pontoon boat rentals are approx. $35 per half hour.

We have rented them at the wilderless lodge. Very enjoyable and lots of space to take it to.
