Renting points

Like I said, there is nothing to argue here, email the owner of the website (Mousesavers) and she'll tell you that the OKW 2br was offered at $289 for the year 2002

I didn't think anyone is arguing; this has been a discussion as far as I am concerned. I'm just saying that that cost of $289 for a two bedroom is unusual for OKW and that Disney didn't offer much is there isn't any availability.

I think if you can get points at the $7 or $8 you initially indicated in your original response, undoubtedly you are getting a great deal. It is still a deal paying $10. But, to say that the points are only worth $6 to a potential renter, well, those are few and far between with limited window of opportunity and generally limited availability at the resorts as well. I see very few (if any) posts at the present time offering points for $6 that extend any time period into the future. As someone else replied, if you were the owner renting points, I'm sure you'd try to maximize the price you received as well. Conversely, as someone looking to rent points, it is only logical to try and get deluxe accommodations as cheaply as you can. That's business.
