Renting points question: how to check reservation on Disney website?

Hi there,
I don't know if I am in the right board for this questions but maybe someone can help me. I am new at renting and a little confused. I just rented a DVC for 3 nights. The DVC owner sent me a travel plan number. Where can I check if reservation was in fact done. Can I verify this on the Disney Website anywhere?

You can (and should) link the reservation to your My Disney Experience (MDX) account.

DVC MS will not discuss this reservation with you, cause you are not a member.
You will not be able to independently verify the reservation.
As PP stated, you need to create your own MDX account if you have not done so yet, and add the number to it to "see" the reservation under your name and account. This will also, allow you to choose your MBs colors and to make FP+ reservations at 60 days out if you have tickets attached to the MDX account at that time.

Unless they have changed it the only way to link this to your MDE acct is to have the owner of the DVC acct on your MDE acct. They then can link it to you MDE acct.

NO they don't!!! And that has never been the case.

As long as the reservation is in the OPs name (and it has to be if they want to actually check-in), they can link it to their MDE account and in no way need to be MDE friends with the owner that made it.

I just did it with no problem! I signed into my account and clicked on add reservation, put in the travel plan number and it appeared with no problem. Was able to see the reservation, the names of each guest and can add ADR to it now. Very cool!

You can now also select colors for your MagicBands. Since you are in Canada, the MagicBands (as customized) will be waiting at the resort for pickup at check-in.

Once you link park admission to MDX, you will be able to make advance FP+ selections beginning at 60 days from check-in.
