Renting points, making ADRs

I'm renting points at BWV from a DVC member. We're getting the dining plan, can I use the online ADR booking system to make dining reservations, or do I need to somehow tie them to our reservation since we're getting the dining plan? It doesn't recognize the confirmation number on the regular Disney World site, but our reservation is in the DVC site.

Yes you can. Try using Firefox instead of IE.

Are you going into the dining reservation site? You cannot go into the regular disney site (My Disney Vacation) and pull up the reservation but if you go into the dining site it should pull up the DVC reservation just fine.

You have to go to the first restaurant you want on the dining page, then on the screen where you put the date in, there's a link to enter your room confirmation #. That will open up the +10 days on the calendar.

I'm in a similiar situation thanks! I have rented points and will be booking in mid Jan for mid July reservation.

How early in the morning can one start booking online?

Also once one books online are they provided with a confirmation number?

If yes - can this confirmation be verified by calling the Dining Booking and confirming with a cast member?

I notice the drop down list for the online restaurant booking shows:
Animal Kingdom Villas as one choice & Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani
as the other.

My family and I are staying at Jambo (AKV) which isn't shown as it's own choice like Kidani.

I'm guessing that I should be using the "Animal Kingdom Villas" option?

Can someone please confirm?

I was able to do it at 6:00am eastern but I've heard it's available as early as 3:00am.

You do get a confirmation #, you can print the screen.

Don't know about verifying. When I got to WDW earlier this month, all my reservations were there.

Don't know - I was staying at Boardwalk Villas. I would try it both ways. It allowed me to pullup my reservation before the day so that I could check if it worked.
