Renting points, How much tax????

Does anyone know what the tax would be when we check out after renting points for a DVC?

There's no taxes due on point stays.

Are there any transaction fees for renting points other than just paying for the $10/point

there should be no extra fees. If they offer it for $10 a piont, then that is what you should pay. These are from members and not a store or other business. Just need to work out payment details.

The only extras would be due to you yourself ordering / using extra services. For example, there is a fee to use the phone to call outside the resort, fees for extra housekeeping services (if you order them) and of course, if you decide to add the Dining Plan or charge anything back to the room, you'd have to pay for that.
