Renting points from the Timeshare Store

DW and I have been considering purchasing DVC for a while now. We just can't seem to make up our minds about where, how much, etc. So we are considering renting points, but would maybe like to have an intermediary involved just for peace of mind. I have noticed that the Timeshare Store advertises renting on their website. I have emailed them for information regarding payment policy and such but have not received an answer back. Just wondering if anyone has used them for this type of transaction and what their policies are. I understand they are reputable for buying/selling, I just want some info on their rental programs. Thanks for any feedback anyone can give.

They link you to Dave's DVC Rentals. I have used them several times to rent out my points and have had very good experiences working with them.

They will send you to Daves DVC rentals... He charges you 14.00 a point for a rental... You can go on the DVC boards and rent directly from a owner for probably 11 12.00 a point can save you a couple of hundred bucks. There are some gd members that can provide references if you would like who you can rent from.
