Hey! I am renting points from a DVC member and I was interested in trying the Disney Dining Plan. How do I do this? And do I have to buy passes from Disney to get the plan? I already have passes. Can anybody help!

WaHoo! Im going to WDW!

The MYW Dining plan is currently only offered to guests that book a package(Room, tickets on same invoice). It is not offered to DVC members staying on points or those that rent points for their stay. But there are rumors that Disney may set something up for us DVC members.

IF you get an annual pass, you can buy the Disney Dining Experience giving you 20% off almost all restaurants. Cost $50 good for a year, plus the pass of course. In many cases it ends up being a much better deal but it depends on the number in your party, number of meals and thelike. Remember some are not owned by Disney and tend to not be included in many Disney discounts.

Actually, Dean, I don't think regular AP holders get the DDE for $50. I think only Florida residents who pay $75 and DVC members who pay $50 can get that.

Sorry Diane, you are the one that is mistaken.
AP holders can get the DDE for $50
DVC members cannot get it for just being a DVC member, only if they are FL residents or a AP holder

In January the DDE office was confused and people were getting it without restrictions. That was quickly solved and now they require the AP or AP voucher numbers to order the DDE card.
