We have not stayed off-site before but because of a growing family the cost and the size of a regular hotel room just isn't working anymore. I recently started looking into off-site condos/townhomes and came across Windsor Hills. Of course, I want to be as close to Disney property as possible so this seems like the perfect community. Anyone have any advice on staying there, what to look for, etc? I found a 3 bedroom/3 bath townhome with a splash pool for about $700 total (including pool heat) for 6 nights. Is this a good price? It would cost us about the same at the All-Star Hotels, which we can't stay in anyway since we are a family of 5 (POR was around $1100)so it sounded pretty good to me. This is in January over Martin Luther King weekend. Any advice on renting off-site and particularly Windsor Hills would be great. Thanks.

Go to the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board... lots of WH postings there. We stayed at Windsor Palms (an older community built by the same developer) and loved it!:thumbsup2

We stayed there last year and enjoyed it. It only takes a few minutes to get to any of the parks and the house we stayed in was really nice. My only complaint was that we ended up with really noisy neighbors and no one would do anything about it, not the police or security. I think that was a fluke. The grounds were beautiful.
