Renting in London

Hi,

I have a writer friend who is considering spending 3 months in London and is looking for information on renting a flat for that time. Can anyone suggest where to start? She is 30 and likes to explore. She actually has a book coming out in the UK in August - how cool is that?

You could try search engines for estate agents (real estate). Like this one

Local newspapers or adverts also show rental opportunities. It probably will not be cheap as it is London and you may struggle for a 3 month period rental as sometimes the length has to be longer.

as far as I know folks don't tend to 'live' in london, they reside in the outskirts, and commute in. Might be useful to seach on rightmove.com etc for local info.
its not going to be cheap as property is at a premium in and around the capital. Most folks I know who have gone that way have had to house share to afford the rent!
