Can anyone recommend (if allowed here) places to rent golf carts for our trip?

Thanks!

Tee Times has been my choice in the past. Last two trips we just used bikes, but Kenny has always taken good care of us. I've seen others post bad experiences but that's gonna be the case with anyone. Tee Times is the only one I've tried so I can't give comparison.

You use their website to reserve. You'll have to meet them off site to get cart. When last I did it the meet was about a mile of Disney property, used their truck and trailer to bring it in and returned it the same way. Took about an hour start to finish for swap out.

I second tiggerdad about Kenny. Have used him 2 times and will be using them for the third and fourth time in April and June and have always used their pickup and trailer. Last time (2017) it was about a $10 Uber/Lyft each way with tip to the pick up/drop off location if you don't have a car. I have found even with paying for a ride share you are still saving quite a bit of money over what Disney charges if the rental is over 4-5 days.

You did not mention how long you will be at the Fort, If you are going for less than a week I think most will agree that renting from the Fort is not that much difference. Not only will you not have to go off property to pick it up and return it, if anything happens to a Fort GC you just go back up to the outpost and get another one unlike maybe waiting a day or two for a new one to be made available to you from an outside vendor.

Then in my humble opinion renting from Kenny at Tee Time would be your best option, that is if you don't mind going off property to pick it up and return it as GC vendors are not allowed to drop off or pick up carts at the Fort. He is the best of the outside vendors and has been doing it for a long time and has a huge following, whatever your decision is have fun at the Fort.

I second everyone else that recommends Kenny. We have been using him now every trip since 2011 The one cart that did give us a problem he replaced within 24 hours

Does anyone know if Kenny can drop off/pick-up on Sundays ? We are coming down for a Sun-Sun stay in about 2 weeks and having a hard time finding a golf cart rental vendor that can/will do Sundays . Have a cart reserved with FW , but not looking forward to spending $500 on a cart for the week that will prob just sit around a few days while at the park . Still need a cart for the non-park days , but hoping to spend about half that .
Will try to call Kenny this week and see ...........

I have done returns on a Sunday

Thanks , was that with Tee Time ?
I will give them a call tomorrow and see what they can do .

I had one place offer a drop off on Monday , and they would let me leave it for them to pick up the following Sunday , but that was a no-go because they somehow forgot it was going to be a Fort Wilderness rental (after I told them a few times :sad2: ) .

Remember, you'll need to go offsides to get and return it. Kenny not allowed to do this himself. Just wasn't sure if that was known or not.

FYI Kenny will allow you to take their pickup and trailer. I do it all the time when I rent with him as I usually stay in the Cabins and don't have a vehicle. You just tell them when you make the reservation you will need it. They don't charge any extra. Though I understand you may be more comfortable towing in your own vehicle.

Great info on the 2" ball mount. I would have not thought about that.

You don't have to use your vehicle. Kenny lets you use his truck and trailer to transport in and out. You leave your vehicle locked up at the meeting area until you return. He will let you swap to your vehicle if you want, but usually the cart is already loaded on the trailer and waiting for you.

They'll verify the location with you. In the past it's been about a mile away. Usually behind one of buildings on South Apopka Vineland Road. Very easy to get to from FW.
