Renting from Dollar, flying SW...need input please

I could use some input on how best to go about this.

Im trying to wrap my tiny brain around the best way to go about returning the car.

If we both take the car back to Dollar, do they have a shuttle that will take us back around to the departures area? Or would we have to drag our bags up to the departure area? Id rather us stay together if possible.

Would it be better to drop one of us off with the bags at the SW dept area and then return the car? If I do this, do I just swing back around the airport to the rental car area? How difficult is that?

Can you tell Im stressing out

When we returned our rental on our last trip my friend and I had brought way too much luggage for two women to handle . We rented from Budget, dropped the car off and picked one of those luggage carts they have in the airports. They were available right there at the rental drop off and I'm sure they are at the Dollar terminal also. It all worked out wonderfully and of course we vowed to bring much less on our next trip. If you need any more info let me know...hope this helps.

actually the return station for dollar is not far from the main building and once there you can get a luggage cart without a problem, my suggestion is have suitcases with wheels and you will be ok if you want to return the car first and then go check in.
