Renting from Disney Car Care Center

Anyone rent from National at Disney's Car Care Center? How much notice do you need to give for pick up from resort? Also, will they pick up from the theme parks? Do you get to select a vehicle in the reservation class? How about Emerald Isle?

We usually rent from MCO, but in this case the reservation will be considerably cheaper if I take Magic Express and check into hotel first, as it eliminates the extra day charges for a mere 3 hours.

We called the day prior to arrange pickup from our resort. I have heard that they will drop off at theme parks after you return your vehicle, but I'm not sure about pickup. No Emerald Isle at the CCC.

My parents rented from them last trip and they picked up at the resort, but they would likely pick up anywhere on property. My Dad said it was easy and they were very nice.

I think they only pick you up at your resort, 24 hours notice and no, they assign the car, there is no Emerald Aisle at CCC.

We still reserved under our Emerald Club number, there was a National rep outside the CCC when we were dropped off. She gave me the keys and we took off. Whole process took about 2 min, it was a great.

Right, at that point you had an Emerald Reserve reservation. Nothing prevents you from renting a car using your EC number.

We did this once, because the savings was ~ $100 (it usually costs more, when I have checked). I was told to call a few hrs to a day before, but when I called we were told someone would be at the resort in 20 minutes. The shuttle seemed to be circulating around. No EI, and unfortunately, we had to stand in line 45 minutes. Only 2 staff and one customer took almost 1/2 hr, due to some problem.
