Renting for Dec. now am owner have ?

We are renting in Dec. but have since purchased ourselves. So will I be able to call member services to confirm my room myself now or only through AKV directly? I wasn't sure since now we are owners if I could talk with member services directly or not since it is still on someone else's points. There are still a lot of questions running through my head on the "rules" of DVC and how everything works. That is why we originally rented, we had considered purchasing ourselves at one time, thought we would rent first to check it out, then with new incentives we took the "plunge". Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

No, because the member you rented from still owns the reservation.
