Renting DVC points for wedding stay...

Hi all,

I know this is probably on the wrong place on the boards, but I just wanted to put some feelers out here first, seeing as this is my usual stomping ground!

We were hoping to book 2 nights at the BWV for the night before and night of our wedding next October, but the contact we have previously used has decided to sell their DVC membership.

We'd still like to do this if possible, so I'm the hunt for someone who would be willing to rent us enough points for a Boardwalk view studio on 20th and 21st October.

Obviously, as it's for our wedding, we want to make sure we everything goes smoothly, which is the main reason I'm asking over here first, as I feel like I know some of you girls quite well now, and obviously there is an element of trust in this arrangement.

Can anyone help us with the points, or recommend a member they have rented from before who might be able to help us?

We're renting points for our stay at the Beach Club Villas for our VR. It'll be the third time we've done this, its a great way to stay at a deluxe resort for less money! But I don't think the Board rules allow us to discuss dates or arrange rentals anywhere other than the rent/trade board here. I'm sure if you go over there you'll find someone to rent points to you!

Still fairly new to the boards so I do not think I can PM...however if you can PM me please do so because I think I may be able to help.

I don't have any points to rent at the moment, but be sure to lock down your reservation ASAP because you're looking to book an Epcot area resort during the Food and Wine Festival - it's a very, very popular time (and place) to go for DVC members.

You'll want to go with someone who is a BW member, probably, so you can take advantage of the 11 month booking window.
