Has anyone had any experience with renting a crib? At the time of travel LO will be 21 months and I know he will not sleep in a pack n play. He sleeps great in his crib about 11 hours and then again for a nap which is 3. Now I know naps prob won't happen but my question is would you rent a crib or try to have him sleep in bed? He has never slept in bed with us and have been warned good luck getting him back in his crib after. I pretty much think we have to have him in a crib because we are all gonna need a good nights rest after being in the parks all day. Im sure they are clean and such so just looking for a little reassurance lol Oh and is there anywhere else to rent from besides Kingdom?

We did the crib rental two years in a row for my little one. He was 16 months the first visit and 2 yr 4 months the second visit. I knew he would never sleep in the pack n play so I checked on the Mom's Panel in the Disney website and found "A Baby's Best Friend". I used them both times and was satisfied with the rental. They had our crib ready for us each time we got there and the mattress was nice and thick like his at home. I did bring out own bedding since we were driving to save money on renting that.

A Baby's Best Friend and Baby's Away are both great services! Have used both and loved them! Not sure if you're staying onsite or offsite, but just fyi, Baby's Away does not deliver to Disney Resorts - but does deliver in the Orlando area. A Baby's Best friend, however, delivers to Disney Resorts. Whichever you choose, both offer great products and service! :)

Thank you.. I like the idea of A Baby's Best Friend.. They actually have a crib that he would be use to and comfortable in. Thank you! I have been on the website and it says 60/week? The website isnt set up like most where it lets you see the totals before putting in credit card information. Has this been true for you when you have rented from them in the past?

something I would start doing before you leave if you are not already doing is start getting your child used to sleeping with some kind of noise. could be a radio or tv or white noise machine. hardest thing about vacations with a little one is getting complete quiet of own room with no noise as every little noise is going to wake child up

We used a Baby's Best Friend to rent a crib two times and were very happy with them. It was so worth the money to have our son sleep in a crib like he's used to. I believe it was around $60-$70 per week. We brought our own sheets so it was a little cheaper.

do the DVC resorts offer cribs by request? I thought I had heard that....

You can request a crib, but it's not guaranteed, and it is not a full sized crib. We got one when we stayed at BWV, and it was fine for my son who was 11 months at the time, but wouldn't work for him when he got bigger.
