Renting carseats??

Is anyone familiar with how much it costs to rent carseats/toddler seats from a rental car company. In other words, we are planning to rent a minivan and currently have three children in carseats, how much would the seat rental cost??

Not sure about cost so sorry.

I would just bring ours and the airline would bag them and put them on the plane. I was familiar and the kids were safe with no added cost to us.

we also brought our own. by the time we added up the costs for renting two for the week, it was silly. i was also concerned with the cleanliness of rentals - and which types of seats would be available. hauling ours was so much easier - plus the peace of mind on easy installation etc...

They are usually $60 for the week (each). I have always just buckled my kids into the carseats on the plane. They were safer that way and it was more familiar to them.

It depends on what kind of carseats you need. I have seen some for as low as $2 for a booster i believe it was an evenflo and the other convertible was around $5 i believe and was safety 1st.

We just rented from Alamo and it was $60 for the 10 days we had the car. I think it's capped at $60. The car seat we got was very clean.

Just booked rental car last week. After searching, found out that every car rental company has their own price. One agency wanted $85 for a booster on an 8 day car rental - it would be cheaper to use bus to Disney resort & send hubby to store & buy a new one. Found one for $5 a day and good price on mini-van rental.

We rented car seats from A Baby's Best Friend. They're delivered to the hotel with other baby items we're getting for the week. The prices were better than the rental car company and they have gotten some really great reviews.
