If you rent carseats, do you have to go thru the regular line, or can you do EA & other like programs where you can skip the line & go straight to your car?

DH wants to rent carseats & I don't (I want to bring ours from home). I'm thinking this may help in my arguement, as we want to be able to skip the line.

National keeps some carseats behind the cashier's booth in the MCO garage. This would mean that your strategy is sunk.

Seriously, though, bringing your own carseats is much better than renting, for a host of reasons, not least of which is price.

How old is your kid?

I use the car seats in the plane as well, hence I always bring car seats.

No bypassing the counter with a car seat rental.

I would definitely bring my own. I bought a car seat travel bag and put both booster seats in that one bag and then I just check it with my luggage. I have a 4 & 8 year old so this works best for us.

The rented ones are in bad shape, yuck! Then there's the price daily. I just would NEVER do it.

You may also have to wait if there are no car seats available when you get there to pick up the car. I would bring your own.
