Renting Boardwalk villas in May 06?

I am exploring all options for our trip in May of 06. Am concidering the possibility of renting DVC points for a stay at Boardwalk villas. Could someone please tell me how may points are needed for a stay in a studio and how many are needed for a one bedroom (not sure which I would want to get) for a stay from Sunday April 30, 2006 Checking out on Thursday May 11 (11 nights). Thanks for any help.

called and they have standard view for 151 points and preferred or boardwalk view 176 points this is a studio

A 1 bedroom is 300 points for standard view, and 366 for preferred.

BWV is my home resort, so I can make ressies 11 months out. I have plenty of points if you're interested.

Thank you guys very much for the info. I am hoping to know here real soon which way I am going to go. It is up between getting an AP and renting DVC, getting an AP and hoping for an AP discount, and getting a Magic Your Way Package with an AAA discount. I am basicly just waiting for the package prices to come out here which my AAA agents says is soon. I will be in touch!!!

Also is there any advantage of renting DVC points vs. having a standard room (besides having the kitchen ammenties) that I should be aware of? I know you don't get room service everyday at a DVC room but other than that there isn't much I am aware of.

Also does a preferred view at either room get me right out on the boardwalk with a balcony to see all the action? That would be ideal I think.

you get to stay in a premium resort for about 60 % off ,the studio at the boardwalk is $336.00 and up through disney. you need a bordwalk view to be on the boardwalk a preferred room is pool/garden view
