Has anyone ever rented an RV locally to use at FW? If so, can anyone recommend any places.

Thanks-
Donna

Absolutely, try tina, she posts on here all the tims her site is campatthefort.com
She does everything, from set up to tear down and has a really nice fifth wheel.

We are using Tina's 5th wheel in August:cool1: There are several others here on the board that are using her trailer in the coming months. I look forward to reading the reviews! Judging from the floorplan and photos it appears nicely set up to accomodate a good sized family. I've always wanted a 5th wheel..I think I'm going to be spoiled after spending time in it. We have a travel trailer, but don't want to tow it to FW, so this is a great opportunity for us to stay in the camping loops. The best thing about renting from Tina is that you won't have to bring any linens, or cookware, where as the national chains don't provide them and you would have to pack all of that. Tina will place the trailer on site, hook up your sewer and water, and put out your awning. ;)

We're also renting Tina's 5th wheel in April and are really looking forward to it! So far, she has been wondeful to deal with and everything has gone smoothly. I'll be sure to post about our experience once we return!

Good luck with your planning!

We are trying cruise america the next trip. We did a private company the last time and were not happy with the outcome. We did NOT use the one listed on the list. The prices for cruise america are very cheap. While they don't set up and tear down they are very affordable. We are paying only $700 for our 10 night stay in Oct. It's nothing fancy but good enough for us. They have a website if you're interested.

Does anyone know if Tina's daily rate includes Fort wilderness fee or not??
Louise

No, the site fee is not included. You need to book your site yourself in your own name. Oh..and if you're a AAA member ask for any discounts that may be available. We did, and I saved some $13.00 a night on a preferred site.;)
