renting an ECV from off site......

Hi!
my DH and I will be staying at the Comfort Inn Lake buena vista. We'll be renting an ECV off site due to the limited quantities at the park and it being more convenient.
I know i've read about various companies to use but i was wondering what you guys would recommend.

My DH is only about 170lbs so we just need a standard ECV. He has Cerebral palsy and uses crutches but is not able to stand or walk for long periods of time. so its not something that he needs to sit in all the time.

What do you think is the best company to use based on cost, reliability of the company, delivery(we'd need it delivered and picked up at the hotel) and just overall use.

The off-site companies that are listed in the disABILITIES FAQs thread are the ones that DIS posters have recommended over the years. All of them have had reports of good or bad experiences over the years, but all of them have had many more good reports and an occasional bad one.
If you go to the disABILITIES FAQs thread, there are links to the websites for a number of companies. All of them will pick up and deliver from your resort. I'd suggest looking at the various websites for the type of scooters they rent. Then call or email a few and get a feel for which one seems best for you.
