Renting a TT

'm starting to get really worried now! We're renting Tina's RV from August 8th-17th...are you the ones right after us on the schedule? I'm not a natural Susie Homemaker, and I don't want to show up in your trip report as "that messy family that had Tina's RV before us."

Aaack...I guess I'd better start boning up on my cleaning skills now! :scared1:

(And I'm getting a kick out of you "using Tina's unit"...there's just no good way to say this stuff, is there?)

Dont worry, I am boning up on my cleaning skills as well. "My unit" will be nice and clean,, we have a shower in the trailer :rotfl:

BLACK garbage bags. ;) You go in there when they are NOT home. Probably not easy to do in your case..never had kids that close in age..let alone QUADS! GOD BLESS YOU!:lovestruc They won't know it's missing if they don't see it getting chucked.;) Never use a kitchen trash bag..they can see through them as if they have kid have X-Ray vision and just KNOW there is a one legged Barbie..or a dog chewed Poly Pocket in the bag. When they ask what's in that big black bag..tell them "daddy has alot of junk". My daughter is a bit of a collector. We should have known she had "issues" when she was four and while I was in the Macy's shoe dept., she was on the floor collecting little pieces of "carpet fuzz"...yep..."fuzzies" she liked to call them. My mom looks at me and says.."um she's under the chair putting something in that little wallet"..Yep..fuzzies..she collects them and saves them. :thumbsup2 I think she named them. .I'm not sure. Anyway this girl CAN NOT throw anything away. I had to give her a contractor bag (black of course!)right before Christmas...she is now 20..and I don't go into her room..unless absolutely necessary. Meaning there has to be fire or blood involved. :scared1: I told her if the room wasn't cleaned.."Santa wouldn't be coming".. No matter HOW old they get...they still want "stuff"..and the older they get the more expensive the "stuff" gets. She had to force herself to part with clothes she hasn't worn in FIVE years. She "feels bad" if she throws things out. I don't know how gentically she is mine.:confused3 My motto is "THROW IT OUT". She makes me takes cllothes to the drop off bin. Honestly..they make them into rags..when I told her this, I thought she was going to cry..so I told her I lied, and made it up..I was joking. (I'm not) we buy rags for the shop from a company who told me that's what alot of those drop offs do with the clothes. So now I bring them to church. I hope they don't sell them to the rag company...and if they do..I won't tell her!

Hi Tina!!!! :goodvibes

I can't believe none of the guys have commented on that one. It's a good thing I wasn't drinking a soda or my keyboard would have been ruined from the spray. :lmao:

We'll be good little housekeepers while we're there, I promise!

Can't wait!

...We also requested a preferred NO pet loop. I was thinking of requesting the 600 loop, as we took photos of sites we liked when we biked through last year during our stay at the WL. Tina had mentioned that her husband thought there were a couple of really nice spacious sites in that loop, and we actually had a photo of 620..and I believe he told her that was a good one. Looks spacious. I'm thinking of requesting that loop..and number..but also thought the 200 loops was an option..being that it would be close to the marina area. It would be nice if Tina didn't have to move the "trailer"..seee..I said "trailer"..:rotfl2: I will try to post a picture of the sites in the 600 loop tomorrow if you'd like to see it.:thumbsup2 I think it's pretty centrally located.

Hi auntie --

Both 200 and 600 look good to me, but then I was quite a happy camper out in 2000, so what do I know? I've never requested a loop before, but unless I get different input from Tina, I'll ask for one of those. I'd love to see your pictures {hint, hint}!

How will you control yourself from checking that Tina's unit is nice and clean? ;) I'm checking out before that happens!

Thanks...this is soooo exciting!
