Renting a reservation after already adding it to MDE.

I purchased a contract with banked points that must be used before Dec. 1. I was able to make a reservation using all of those banked points, added it to MDE and made ADRs. But now it looks like I'm not going to be able to make that trip. Since availability between now and Dec. 1 is pretty much zilch, I'm thinking of renting the reservation out instead of canceling.

I've never had to do this before. So, my question is: If I successfully rent out the reservation, will just changing the names on the reservation remove it from my MDE so that the renter can link it to their own MDE?
