Renting a pontoon boat?

Hi guys.

We're going to be booking 2 pontoon boats for a speciality cruise for our wedding guests.

Trouble is, on saturday I had a phonecall from a friend who sort of surprised me with an "I'm coming!", so now if our 4 "we aren't sure yet" guests turn into a yes, then we'll have too many people for our two boats.....

If you hire your own pontoons to sail yourself, do you book in advance? And will they let you hire them at night?

We rented a pontoon boat (suntracker) last August, they are about $50 incl tax for 30 mins. Anyone that books thru Disney.co.uk get a voucher for 30 mins free if you rent for 60 mins so 90 mins would be about $100.

You rent from various locations, depends where your cruise is going, might be somewhere private rentals can't go, I have no idea, never looked into speciality cruises.

We just walked up and rented, didn't book in advance.

Don't know what time they stop renting.

I've e-mailed IPO and asked, I'm sure they'll know the answer. Or can ask the marina for me.

Our wonderful boat plan may have to be cancelled.

What a shame if someone pulls out in the spring and it turns out we could have had them.

I just called - love talking to WDW!

We would have no problme booking 3 and then cancelling as long as we were within the cancellation period, which we will be as we'll know final numbers in plenty of time!
