renting a Ford?

Hi! My husband likes Fords. What rental company is most likely to rent out Ford vehichles? Thanks in advance.

Hertz has Fords, as it was owned by Ford until very recently. It also has Volvos and Jaguars and other Ford premium brands.

Budget too. We've rented full size from them twice and always have gotten Ford Tauruses.

Oh, forgot we also rented a mid size SUV and ended up with a Ford Escape.

we used Hertz last summer and ended up with a Chevy Tahoe when we booked an Expedition...

I checked Orlando airport, and Hertz is great for Fords (as they are at most Hertz locations), also Budget shows a bunch of them, Avis and Dollar has Ford SUV's, trucks, and vans, and Enterprise shows a Ford Escape and a Ford Taurus station wagon.

Alamo has mostly GM products. The standard Suv is most likely a Chevrolet TrailBlazer or an GMC Envoy.

As far as fords, Hertz, Budget and sometimes Enterprise are usually your best bets (although Hertz has been stocking up on the foreign models lately )

Got to chatting with the local Hertz manager and he said since Ford has sold Hertz Ford vehicles are being reduced. He said the Crown Vic/ Grand Marquis is down to 35 percent.

Budget has a lot of Fords. Also found out Budget is owned by Avis or a common company.

Yes, Budget is Avis' leasure brand. More standard airport locations, where as Avis has many city locations and tends toward pleasing the business crowd more...
