RENTING a car?

We have never rented a car before while in Disney, but this time we have to. My autistic son does not do BUSES. (anykind) COuld I ask for some helpful hints?
1) Any right at the airport pickup area?
2) I have seen discount codes any for February?
3) Any car rental better than others?

Hi,

Avis, National, Alamo, Budget are all on MCO. We usually rent from Avis after having a bad experiance with National/Alamo. Checkout www.mousesavers.com for discount codes etc.

Dollar and L&M are also in the airport (you do not need to take a shuttle bus to pick up your car) along with the others mentioned above.

I generally use Dollar because I tend to get the best rates from them. If you are a BJ's club member, you can get good discounts on the rental plus possible upgrade using their coupons.

I had a rough experience with the service at Alamo this past trip. click here for my Alamo Experience ... I'd try one of the others, even if Alamo has the best prices.

If you DO happen to find a better rate from an off-airport car rental agency and only one of you will be driving anyway - that person can take the shuttle to the rental location, then come back and pick the rest of you up at the airport. While they're doing that, the other adult(s) can be waiting for the luggage.
